Jennie Hills

Jennie Hills is a London based photographer with over 20 years experience specialising in studio/still life, editorial, portrait and PR photography.  Jennie graduated from the Documentary Photography course established by Magnum photographer David Hurn at Newport College.  After graduating Jennie was awarded the Fuji/Halina bursary spending a year as Photographer in Residence for the Duke of Edinburgh's Award and Outward Bound Trust, contributing to their image library. Jennie helped organize and run a residential photography course for teenagers at The Watershed arts centre in Bristol and also undertook a commission from Halina Marketing U.K to produce promotional images of their factories in China and Thailand for their display stand at Fotokina.  Jennie was the Public Relations Photographer at Moorfields Eye Hospital leading on a project to document and celebrate “A Century at City Road” this project culminated in an exhibition and the publishing of a book documenting the hospital and a visit by the hospital’s patron Her Majesty The Queen.

Jennie currently works as a permanent photographer for the Science Museum, producing high quality creative images for clients within the Museum’s Exhibition team, Collections, Learning and Events departments and Press Office.  The images are used extensively on the Science Museum’s Website highlighting objects and stories, the online collection an image based database of the Museum’s collection, and blogs by staff and the Museum’s twitter feed
